8th Oct. 2020 – Year 6 Global Perspectives students were our first group of students to work on a cross-curricular project.
Cambridge Primary Global Perspectives subject is a ground-breaking and stimulating course that stretches across traditional subject boundaries and develops transferable skills. It is both cross-curricular, skills-based and taps into the way learners of today enjoy learning, including team work, presentations and projects.
Here they are in the Art Room today working together to produce their posters for a major sporting event, after learning the important tips on “Good Event Poster Design” from Mr. Bryan, the Art and Design teacher.
The students are encouraging people from all parts of the community and all abilities to participate in their respective events. Through doing this project, students are developing their awareness of inclusiveness, which is a global perspective.
