SAPPHIRE (BLUE HOUSE)
Sapphire is a precious gemstone composed of the mineral corundum.
Like sapphires, our students possess unique qualities and characteristics that make them valuable and precious. They can shine and reach their full potential with proper guidance and cultivation, just as sapphires can be polished and cut to reveal their brilliance.
The beetle has been chosen as our official mascot. These small but mighty creatures represent the strength, resilience and teamwork that we embody as members of the Sapphire Sports House. Just as beetles are able to carry loads many times their own weight, we too are capable of pushing ourselves to achieve great things on the field.
As members of the Sapphire Sports House, we will embody the blue colour of our namesake gemstone: a symbol of wisdom, knowledge, and perseverance. We will use our mental strength to overcome nerves and pressure, and our resilience to bounce back from any setbacks we may encounter.
‘Shine like a Sapphire, play like a champion!’

We, in the green house is the ‘praying mantis’ of this year’s competition. Despite being down to earth, ‘still’ in posture, we shall pound on our preys with precision and strength at the least expected instance to gain victory..
‘Be cautious of the silent, green predator!’
